Day 5 - Boston Downtown, Boston Harborside

Michael
Same as yesterday, I woke up early at six to do PT, and other people woke up at seven. We left New York with our final breakfast at TimeSquare’s Mcdonald. (Before having breakfast, I chat with my mom and dad too ) After another 4-hour drive, we successfully left Manhattan, then across Connecticut to Boston. We didn’t have any lunch until 5, simply because we spent a lot of time driving across Connecticut and finding several hotels. Well, surprisingly, after finding 4 hotels with no vacancy, we finally arrived Renaissance (Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel), and Billy gave us the most unexpected offer – a suite room with just only $199 per day!!! Originally, this hotel got no vacancy too, but as we felt starving like hell, Billy made us a room ASAP and we were just so excited and astonished! Though it was an emergency room, we still could be able to enjoy this high-class offer  Everybody should be jealous of us .
Anyway, after loading all the backpacks and stuff into the room, we walked to a nearby restaurant called Whiskey Priest, which is located near the waterfront. We paid a lot in this dinner – the harbour view, then the Fish ‘N Chips, Clam Chowder, Limerick Wings, Golden Calmari, Caesar Salad and Steak tip. Well, we paid for our stomach, to make it as a conclusion as we missed our lunch. Moreover, Clam Chowder is a specific dish in Boston, so Billy probably might make us drink Clam Chowder for all day!!! OMG! After the dinner, we walked around the harborside, apartments with boats parked nearby, and even so-clear telescopes without paying a cent! After a walk near the Waterfront, we found Boston a very high-class city, with less gums and rubbish, high quality at dinning, living and even entertaining. This city is so well-planned, and is totally different from New York City, which is so crowded and so messy, no matter in Subway Station, streets and even shops and people. For me, I will prefer Boston, but I don’t know if I am making the right choice. I will probably find it out tomorrow, because we are heading to the universities in Cambridge for almost the whole day. Anyway, see you tomorrow, and stay tuned!
