Day 2 Me3 Life Education Program - Downtown Toronto

Margott

Hi everybody ☺
Today is the second day of my trip to Canada and I woke up at 5:30 in the morning. Maybe I’m not use to the time difference between Hong Kong and Canada. Hope I can get use to it tomorrow. We visited the University of Toronto, Chinatown, and the CN tower today. I found that the University of Toronto has a very beautiful environment. It is a great place for studying. We had lunch at the food court of a mall in Chinatown. The food there is absolutely the one in Hong Kong. It is a pity that we only visited the outside of the CN tower and didn’t go up and have a look. It would be wonderful if I can have a view of Toronto on the CN tower. Quite tired today.

Scarlett

This is second day we arrived in Canada. We went to the University of Toronto. Its amazing, it is like a big and wonderful castle. We also went to Chinatown, it is exactly like the environment in china. Maybe we didn’t get use to the time, so many of us are tired and sleepy. Hope it will be better tomorrow.

Today we did a basic clean up with the kids coming from Hong Kong. After words we had some PowerPoint of rules and regulations of Monticle. We then left the office and went to Chinatown to have a lunch meal. Then we went to the University of Toronto. We did a four hour walk around and after we took pictures. Then we went to the CN tower for sometime. At last we went back to our apartment for dinner. Today I feel really happy. We talked to all three HK kids and had lots of fun.

Calvin

Day One was an excellent day for the HK kids because they got a view of Toronto, but I hope day two will even be better. I have seen the kids and welcome them. I have seen what they are capable of doing just by looking at how they are walking. I got their basic endurance point and took notes on their attitudes and enthusiasm. The walk around Chinatown was a lot more revealing then I thought. Unfortunately the kids are tired because of Jetlag, so I hope to see 100% of them in a few days. Today was an excellent start to a wonderful journey. They enjoyed the tour of the U OF T very much, and having Amy there was a huge bonus for us all, she filled us with stories and information. I hope our trip tomorrow will be even better then today.

Owen

I was very exhausted today. Today I didn’t know why I am wake up at 6. Then Steve told us what we will do today. We will have a class about Monticle, Visit the University of Toronto, and Visit Cn tower. First we went to the office of Monticle. We then helped clean up their office. How tired I am. Next we have a class, it is just like school in Hong Kong, talking, showing PowerPoint’s and taking notes. When we have to do a exam about the class, I just finish the Mc Questions but the writing questions were all in a mess. How noob I am!
After that we visited the Toronto University. There were many rooms and the halls was big. After that, we went to a small shopping mall. I hate shopping. I was boring, I felt very bored and tired. When I was sleeping, Billy too a sleepy photo on mine. Poor me!

When we vusted tge CN tower. It was very tall. But I can’t go on it. What a shame!

Finally, I went back home, ate my dinner and prepare for the next day. Bye!
