Quebec trip Day 4 and 5

December 26, 2013
Unfortunately we did not get to go to Quebec City as we had a major problem to fix. We still had to find a temporarily solution to our sprinter’s window problem. We spent the majority of the day trying to find materials needed for the window. We started the day with a spicy breakfast and getting prepared for the cold weather in the car. Apparently, the shops in Quebec don’t open until one on boxing day, so we settled in for an early lunch. When the stores finally opened, we bought the materials needed and fixed the window. We decided to shop around a little too, to spend the remainder time. When we returned to the house, we ate a delicious dinner and watched a few movies. That was the end of the day, tomorrow we will be returning to Toronto.

Last night, we had an amazing dinner of steak and chicken cooked by Billy. Since we slept around midnight, we woke up this morning at a slightly later time than normal. We spent most of our day sitting on the vehicle driving back to HQ. Around noon, we stopped at a rest stop for a quick lunch and washroom break. After lunch, we resumed our drive back to Toronto. When we arrived at HQ, we quickly cleaned up and said our goodbyes to everyone being picked up. Overall, our trip was good except that the sprinter window was broken and some belongings were stolen. Thanks for reading and have a happy New Year!

Quebec trip Day 3

December 25, 2013

Everybody woke up at 6 today. Everyone got ready for breakfast. Then we had instant noodles and leftover fish and carrots for breakfast. Everyone got ready to go to on the trip to Mount Tremblant. It took us almost two hours to get there but most people were sleeping. When we went parking we backed up the vehicle and it got stuck in the snow. Everyone helped pushed the sprinter forward. We got our equipment, whether ski or snowboard and we headed up the mountain. We went skiing and snowboarding for almost four hours. Then, we headed back to Montreal. We stopped by Chinatown for dinner. After we went back to the vehicle, unfortunately the vehicle got broken in, but we learned an important lesson to tuck everything underneath the seats. Then, we went back to Charlie’s house. Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas!
