Bravo Group Extension - Day 5

Aug 31, 2013 – Bravo Extension Day 5

Today is the last day of the Bravo Group Extension Trip. We woke up early this morning (around 4am), packed up our things and left Montreal and our hosts’ house before 5am. Almost everyone slept the entire car ride back towards Toronto / Markham. We arrived back at Monticle with Shirley and Moon leaving with Billy to the airport for their flight back to China. Farewell guys! We hope you have a safe flight! We will miss you dearly! While they got drove to the airport, the rest of us stayed behind and cleaned the sprinter and whatever left that needed cleaning.

Here is the end of the Monticle programs for the summer. Thank you for staying with us, reading the blogs and viewing the pictures throughout the summer. In the following days we will be posting up essay stories written by the students during the TransCanada Trip. Stay tune!

Bravo Group Extension - Day 4

Aug 30, 2013 – Bravo Extension Day 4

With the intention of going to the Montreal Science Centre, we had our breakfast and left the house earlier. We arrived at the Science Centre and bought tickets. We went checked out the exhibits there; games were played and experiments were tested. The special exhibit of the year was about sharks. We toured the exhibit and learned a lot about prehistoric sharks and current sharks. Afterwards we visited the IMAX theatre and watched a film called Flight of the Butterflies in 3D about the monarch butterflies. It was a fascinating film that some find boring while others find interesting. We left the science centre and walked to Chinatown for a lunch. When lunch was over, we were given the task to walk all the way to McGill University for a tour and come back. The walk was interesting, as we did not know the exact location. It was a simple straight road but we checked the map (when we found one) to be more precise. There were many people walking and festivities about, upon arrival at the university. We figured out that it was Frosh Week (it’s orientation week where new and old students get to know the school, the programs, and the clubs). After a quick mini tour (with free gifts) we started walking back, stopping at Montreal’s Eaton Centre for a bit. We came back to the house, had an amazing dinner courtesy of our hosts again. We cleaned up with our bellies full, packed up all equipment and end the night early. It is our last day (and night) here in Montreal. Tomorrow we will be leaving extremely early to make it to the Toronto Pearson Airport in time for Shirley and Moon’s flight back to China. Time sure flies.

 Today, we  head down to down town Montreal  to Science central to have a visit. We went to shark ex for sometime. It  is pretty cool. We head to china town noodle place to ate. It is pretty tasty. It is a alright today. people in here are very friendly.  This place is a nice place.  I have a good time. I  am very health. No sic k. I  am good . LOVE you mom.

Today we went to the Science Centre and also watched an IMAX film. After, we had a lunch and walked all the way to McGill University and looked around in the Montreal Eaton Centre. I never knew there was an Eaton Centre here. We walked so much today. I would say that I liked the science 26 in the science centre the most and the IMAX film was really good too. The Montreal streets were very different from Toronto’s streets, there were also many different stores there. I wish I knew more French! Everywhere I looked there were French signs… Today is our last night in Montreal. Tomorrow we have to leave at 5 a.m. Bye, bye Montreal….

Today is my last day of this trip. As usual, we got up at about 8:00 and had our breakfast.  Billy told us we will watch a film today, so we went to the science center early this morning. First, we visited the science center, there were lots of interesting things to play. I like this place very much! That was so fun! Then, we went to another exhibition room, it was all about sharks. At last we watched a film. It  was about butterflies.  Someone thought that was so board, even fell asleep! Today’s lunch was really nice ,I love it! Good night and good bye everybody, see you next year ,maybe……

转眼间已经三十号了，当你在终点回首起点时，就会发现那并不遥远，光阴似箭，日月如梭，时光荏苒，白驹过隙，我用这些已经被用烂掉的成语，来形容我所度过的快乐时光。明天，我就要飞回魂牵梦绕的家，漂泊他乡的人，总是会时不时地思念故乡。不过，现在，就应该享受最后的晚餐，这真的是最后的了，是与所有同伴的离别。Billy说，多吃点，要记住加拿大食物的味道，有空再来加拿大玩。

这又是一次奇迹，晚饭时，又下起了滂沱大雨，晚饭结束时，就停了，趁着这雨水还没有汽化，我想在这里对Monticle的人说，谢谢你们，给我一次永生难忘的经历，让我体会到一个团体间互相督促，互相帮助，一起吃苦，一起欢笑的美好。下一次，我还会再来的。

Today is the last last day of this trip. Today will we got up at 8:00 and had our breakfast. And head down to down town Montreal to Science center  to had a visit. And we head down to China town to had our lunch. After  we had our free time to go to Mcgill U to had fast and visit, the school were very big. After that when we are walking on the street, we saw some weird people there. Then we went to Eaton center  to walk around the mall. At 5:00 we all back to the Ven. And we had a nice dinner.

It’s a fun day!!!

Bravo Group Extension - Day 3

Aug 29, 2013 – Bravo Extension Day 3

Our goal for today is downtown Montreal. We started out the day with breakfast before watching a movie. After the movie was over we drove to the Montreal Science Centre, parked the sprinter and went into the building and checked out the ticket price. Judging from the time, we decided to tour the Science Centre and watch the IMAX movie (from the centre) tomorrow. We went into Chinatown and had Dim Sum for lunch. We were very full when we left the restaurant; we walked and toured around old Montreal, taking in the sights and scenery. We ended up an ice cream store (Monticle’s been to a lot in the past). We went into a lot of Aboriginal art stores. By 3 we headed back towards the parked car hoping to drive to McGill University for a visit, however it was rush hour and the road was jam packed with traffic. In the end we gave up and slowly drove back to the house. We watched a movie while dinner was made, courtesy of our hosts. To end the night, we had an amazing dinner.

Today, we are in montreal . we head down to old montreal  to have  experience  place . we went through a couple of diffent place that buy scuare ture  , and we also  buy went ice cream . at the morning we  have a long sleep till 8:00. We also spent morning watching movie and have fun.

                Today we spent our day in downtown Montreal. It was funny how new montreal was built to look old but old montreal is built to look new. We started out the day with a nice breakfast and then we watched a movie, killing season. After, we set out and we went to lunch. When lunch was finished, we walked around downtown. After this we wanted to go to McGill University but there were no parking spaces, so we just went back. Right now we are watching another movie. That was it…. Tomorrow’s the last full day in Montreal.

今天过得好像跟昨天没什么差别，起床，早餐，电影，午饭，逛街，回家，电影，晚饭。 感觉回到了上学时的生活，日复一日，不过说实在的，马上就要开学了，开学后，我就上毕业班了，中考的压力压在心头。那种日子，何时才得以终结

Today ,we went to Montreal to have a visit .We saw many interesting thing ,and we went to a ice cream shop to eat a tasty ice cream .And tomorrow we will have a 3D movie.

现在发现留在这里是一个很好的决定，因为这过去的3天和之前的14天简直是天壤之别。每天8点多起床，然后就开始看电影，接着就开车去shopping或者到处瞎逛。。。。。。每天的早餐，中餐和晚饭都很美味，不过，这已经室我倒数第X顿美食了，旧快别了，大家，明年见吧，或许。。。。。。
