Day 22 - Enhancement Training - A walk to the Falls Challenge

Hello everybody! For now we couldn't be able to upload any photos up, probably we will have uploaded them by the time Billy, Calvin, Alastair, Edwin Cheung, Jason Wang and Michael have finished walking from Richmond Hill to Niagara Falls.

We basically made the decision up yesterday about walking from Billy's apartment to the Niagara Falls, soon after we had finished cleaning up all the kayak camping stuff. Well, Michael, Alastair and Edwin have always eagered to have a walk to the Falls, but to make it more fun, Jason and Calvin just joined last night. Therefore Billy decided to split ourselves to teams of two and make a competition - reaching Burlington at 21:00. However, as today was heavenly rough in weathr conditions, including - getting soaking wet, blisters, cuts, hotspots and even nasty feet, therefore we just walked for 44 km today, which is quite behind our schedule. Even though, Alastair needed to suck up all the blisters, Calvin and Jason just got their first experience on long walking, everybody was doing good. We went as a tem, we will finish as a team, so as Billy said, we cannot abandon any team mates. Therefore, even Calvin and Jason were behind us for like two hours, we still waited for them at a hotel (The Waterside Inn at Stavebank Road at Missisauga). No matter how long we spend for the walk, we will put our team's safety to first priority. Last but not least, everybody has a strong mind, so we sure have confidence to finish it as a team.

P.S. Billy even said we might probably run to the destination for the last 500 meters. How will we feel our legs? Or should we ask Jerome to bring us wheelchairs with the Sprinter? Guess what, we will suck them up and grab a nice certificate for this life achievement once we have reached the Monticle HQ, no matter we are sitting on wheelchairs, laying on beds or even getting hospitalized. So no matter what, give us your full support for us and make the legend of Monticle happen!
