Today is our last day in Labrador City! We woke up later than usual and instead of visiting Charlie’s restaurant for brunch, we went to McDonalds.
Later we headed to Smokey Mountains for a short hike. There were a lot of sparkly and interesting rocks on the ground so we decided to collect some to make our Inukshuks! We can’t wait to start them!
After some exploring, we met up with our tour guide and headed off to the Iron Ore Company of Canada. We visited the iron storage and different mining, the area was so big! Everything was supersized! :)
The tour took up most of the day. Before we went back to the house, we bought our groceries for tomorrow and when we did get back to the house, we did a quick clean up of the vehicle and headed to Charlie’s for our very last delicious dinner! We have them to thanks for a wonderful time in Labrador.
Right now, we are packing up and getting ready to leave very early in the morning. It’s time to get back on the bumpy road to get to our next destination, Goose Bay! EXCITING! :)
