Day 19 - Prince Edward Island

Another exciting day has gone by! As always, we had a really productive day.

We packed everything up at Cheticamp and set out right after we had our breakfast. We were in the car for most of the morning since we needed to reach PEI by the end of the day.

In the afternoon, we spotted a McLobsters and decided to stop for lunch. What is a McLobsters? It’s a sub filled with lobster meat made by McDonalds. It was alright…it definitely wasn’t better than the lobster sandwich we had a couple of days ago!

We traveled through Nova Scotia and through New Brunswick before crossing the Confederation Bridge to get to PEI. The bridge is the biggest bridge in Canada! It took awhile to get through.

Once we got to PEI, we did a little browsing around and bought some famous potato & lobster chips. Here’s a fact: PEI is pretty well known for their potatoes and McCain’s headquarters are located here! That’s right, we saw it.

We stopped by the lighthouse which had a nice view of the Confederation Bridge and the ocean. We took some nice pictures by the cliff and enjoyed the view. It got late too soon and we decided to find a motel to stay in so we can have our dinner. The hotel we are staying in is a five star hotel! We have a whole 4 rooms apartment of our own! It’s pretty nice.

We had a quick dinner and now everyone’s getting ready for tomorrow. We all can’t wait to do some more exploring in PEI.

Be sure to check up on us for more exciting news!
