This morning, breakfast was held at First Markham Place.
It started to rain soon after, so with a change of plans, everyone went into
their respective groups and got to know each other.
They announced their names, ages, birthdays, as well as
likes and dislikes while the four students who arrived yesterday had their
registrations done. Instructors, leaderships, and students alike all enjoyed
the games and activities as we all got to know one another.
Our lunch for today was pizza. While we were all waiting
for the pizza to arrive, the students watched a video about kayaking. We were
starving by the time pizza came. Students ate 2 slices of pizza, some even ate
3.
After lunch, the students continued to watch the kayak
video and a movie while the leaderships and instructors meet and discussed
tomorrow’s events.
We also welcomed another new arrival today. We had a
discussion about what to eat for dinner and from the variety of choices there
were, we finally decided on Mandarin Buffet. Dinner was tasty. Everyone ate a
lot.
It’s almost time for the start of the camp! The
leaderships loaded all necessary equipments and we’re ready to go for tomorrow!
