Alpha Group / Me3 Foundation Day 8 (Plus photos day 5 to 8)

Finally, after a long and fun five days, our time at Muskey’s landing is over, but our program isn’t over yet. We still have many things planned, and the students are all very excited. Anyways, today we woke up at a relatively late 7:30, and packed our things up. We were lucky that it hadn’t rained during our kayaking or boating, but it was raining all night, and our wetsuits were…. well…wet….. but it was a challenge to pack. We all managed to gather enough plastic bags (coming from various places) to put all our wetsuits in. Since it was raining, we all ate breakfast in cabin one, and we had watermelon, eggs and hot dogs, which took longer than expected, since we had so much extra watermelon. We then loaded up the Sprinters (our minibuses) and drove back to HQ. Back at HQ, we took three hours to clean up all our equipment, which included kayaks, kayak straps, safety equipment, and a plethora of other equipment that would take a few pages to name. After that, Billy treated us all to an amazing dinner at Mandarin, and after a long work day, we all appreciated and enjoyed it. Good night, and we’ll continue to keep you all posted.

Today is day 8 of Monticle camp. After breakfast, we left Muskey’s Landing and returned to HQ. As soon as we got back to HQ, we all got jobs cleaning the kayaks and the boat. It took us a long time to finish and we didn’t really have a good lunch. But, we got a great reward, a buffet dinner at Mandarin. Hope we have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Today is day 8. Today for breakfast, we had sausage with eggs, and watermelon. Then we had a long drive to HQ (headquarters). Then we cleaned the kayaks, etc. then we went to Manderin!!! the food was really good. Tomorrow were going to mon sheong, to do a drama peace and singing peace.

Today we don’t need to see any bugs anymore, because we left the camp site. And we are also going to watch a movie in Billy’s house too.

 “Fzz……!Fzzz…..!” The sounds of oil squirting everywhere on the frying pan woke us all up. I was helping to cook breakfast due to the fact that the rain was storming down outside. Our mates started coming in our cabin sitting down and starting a loud socialize communication conversation. We served hot chocolate, sausages and egg, then started heading back to the HQ on the vehicle. Me and Yereem snored with peace for hours charging ourselves, then finding the walls of the HQ right next to the window, a symbol of arrival! Everyone rushed in and unpacked everything and cleaned our equipment and the vehicles with the pressure of finishing by 4:30 in able to reach mandarin for a buffet dinner! I came back with a stuffed tummy kneeling down to write my blog, and await for the amazing night to begin!

Today we basically spent the day doing menial labour .We had to pack our bags and carry them through the rain in the morning . When we returned we had to do a lot of cleaning. Finally we celebrated by going to Mandarin. Today, was a normal day.

Today is the day we leave camp and go back to the apartment and HQ. I was so glad that we could leave and say bye to all the bugs. When we came back, we had a messy clean up period of the kayaks and stuff. After that, we went to eat at the Mandarin. The Mandarin was a buffet and I ate a lot. I had ice cream, roast beef, fries and stuff like that. After that, we are going to Billy’s house to watch a movie.

This morning it rained when we woke up. We didn’t have any drama practise. We packed up first thing and brought our luggage to Cabin 1. We had breakfast at cabin 1. We had watermelon for last. We got back at HQ for 12 something. We cleaned our wet suits , watershoes, the boat and kayaks. For 4 hours then we went to mandarin for dinner.

“ Come on! “ I said in frustration as I was scrubbing the greasy metal parts of the stove in the sand while I was squatting in the rain. This morning after packing up, I pulled on my rain jacket and ran into the rain to help Billy load our thing to the trunk. I helped him with loading kayaks, life jackets, and helmets, then I had to clean the stove. To make it faster, Billy told me to wipe the grease using sand . then there I was, squatting in the rain scrubbing like crazy. I never left it until it was clean…. just a sense of determination and responsibility, although sand and water was all over my hands. I guess I overcame my fear of wet sand.GHQ

Today is day 8^th of camp. Time flies so fast!! We left the campsite today. It started raining this morning so we ate breakfast inside cabin 1. We had hot chocolate, eggs, and sausages. We left the campsite then we drove back to HQ. At HQ, we did a lot of unpacking and cleaning. We had an awesome dinner; we went to MANDARIN!! The buffet was great. Later, we’re also going to watch a fun movie. Today was a really fun day!!

Today was  the last day of the camp site. We ate breakfast there, that’s it. We came back  to the HQ and talked over about where we are going to eat. At MANDARIN!! We ate good stuff  there. Today 2 of my friends Sharon and Joyce left. I felt really bad. Tonight we are sleeping at the apartment and watching a movie! Tomorrow we are going to Mon Sheng. Today was really fun!

Today we ate breakfast in cabin 1, because it was raining heavily. We also went back to HQ, (Headquarters). We had supper at a buffet. (Mostly dessert). Then later , we are going to have an exciting moment. Watch a movie. Movie unknown. Drinks. Soft drinks. Food. Junk food. So nice right. I clean a motor boat which is very wet. We go to apartment at 7:00 PM. Sound fair. Huh. Zzz………after. Today was very fun. P.S the restaurant is called mandarin.

Today, when we finished breakfast, we ate scrambled eggs and sausages, we packed our bags, tidy up all the stuff from my room, then we’re going back to HQ. Because this was the last day of camp. Later we tidied all the equipment in HQ, which took us about 3 hours to finish. We had an early buffet in Mandarin. I’m totally full. I had seafood, meat, some ice cream etc. I had a great dinner!

We spend the whole day unpacking and cleaning the HQ but we at least went to mandarin buffet to eat.

Alpha Group / Me3 Foundation Day 7

We spent almost all day in the water today, although we started the day off with another drama class. We’ve almost finished the production, all thanks to Kenny. After that we split into two groups, one started on kayaking, and one went with Billy to go do some more man overboard drills. It was a beautiful day today, and we all enjoyed our day out in the water. When the students were kayaking, a lot of us got stuck in the reeds, but with teamwork, and cooperation from their friends, they all managed to finish the kayaking trip. After that, we ate a dinner of bread, spaghetti, and vegetables, which, like always, was delicious. Today is also the last day of camp, and I’m sure all of the students are very disappointed. Still, even if our time in camp is over, our program is far from over, and we still have many activities planned, which I’m sure all of us will enjoy. Anyways, good night, and we’ll post again tomorrow.

Today is the last day we are using a wetsuit! We did some kayaking and 8 man overboard. During kayaking, I was paired up with Marco on a k2. It was tiring and we had a few arguments, but it was fine, 8 man overboard was fine but very difficult. The good part was that we could have 20 min of fun in the water afterwards.

“Geronimo! Icecream! Fries! Monticle!” I screamed as I jumped off the boat with pride and excitement. We all jumped off the boat one by one right after the second Man – overboard task, oh how I wished we could stay an extra few days, despite the fact that Yereem keeps moaning and complaining. Anyway today was awesome I learn’t a lot of survival and leadership skills, and had an experience for life!we’re now practicing our performance tommorrow! So looking forward for tomorrow.

The white helmet felt awkward on my head. Being ranked the highest was also unexpected and came to me as a surprise that I couldn’t even feel the pressure. Still, a sigh escaped from my mouth as I thought of leading 6 people for the long hours of watersports, that’s my challenge – giving it- but no matter what a try won’t hurt.

Today, when we finished breakfast, we connected all the scenes from drama. There’s total 6 scenes and I’m on the first on which was soccer. After lunch, we did water activities, first we did kayaking, I’m almost the best kayaker in the whole group. Later we did man overboard again, but this time there were 7 people holding hands together. I had a better understanding of teamwork. Then we had fun in the water, we jumped to the water using the boat. Later on we had dinner, we had beef and bread!

Today is day 7 of camp. We were mostly in water today, kayaking and man overboard. Plus, we got to do cannonballs into the water too. Then we kayaked. It was fun, but at the same time, very tiring. I had a lot of fun today in the water. But, I really miss the city and am very happy t go back to HQ tomorrow.

Well, Today is the first and the last day of kayaking for us and we are leaving the campsite and I’m sort of happy and sad. The lecture I got today is balance in teamwork. I got nothing to say now.

This morning Billy inspected the rooms since denial had to leave early. After Breakfast we had our second last drama practise. Later in the day we had to do another man overboard (boat) but this time we had to swim to the rock and back to the boat. I was happy to kayak in the K1.

I had the most fun today. We did man overboard and drama again for drama scenes. We are doing it in mon sheong. For man overboard we linked our arms together and swam backwards to a big rock, and then got 20 min free time to jump off the boat. Also I did have an enjoyable sleep because the beds and wash- rooms were better then the cottage. I had lot’s of fun today!!

Today is the 7^th day of camp. Tomorrow we’re leaving the campsite. (boo!!). Today we had breakfast, which was a tuna sandwich and hot chocolate. Later,  (well after that) we had a drama class. Then, we had lunch. We had cream of mushroom with spaghetti and drumsticks. We then did water sports. I was in the first group so I went on the boat and I did a 8-person man over-board. Then, we went back and we did kayaking. It was really hard. The water sports were really fun!! That’s the end of my day.

We went kayaking today. It was very hot and fun. It was very hard thoe. We also did some drama.

Today is day 7. For breakfast, we had hot chocolate, and also a tuna sandwich. It was good. Alday we had water thing like kayaking and man overboard. Also in the morning, we had a drama period. It was fun. Tomorrow we are leaving muskey’s landing. We are only were for breakfast.

Today we spent most of the day in the water. This included our man overboard drill & kayaking. I’m a little seasick from all the water; swimming in the water, jumping into the water, diving into the water, sleeping in the water, sliding through the water, getting out of the water. It was exhausting and exiting day.

For breakfast we had hot chocolate and tuna sandwiches. For lunch, we had more food and drinks. For the whole day, I did some kayaking and man overboard training and also jumped into the water later. It felt warm and cold all together. The learning experience was easy to understand.

Today we did one more time man overboard and |I cut my hand with a rock. We jumped from the boat and it is so fun. I did the kayak finally. It is fun when we have to stop, I did one time 2 person seats and one person seat. We ate tuna fish sandwich and drink hot chocolate. We are leaving this campsite tomorrow. I miss this campsite

Alpha Group / Me3 Foundation Day 6

Today was a more relaxing day compared to the last few days. After eating a breakfast of chicken noodle soup, we continued preparing our drama production, with Kenny’s help. This took us until about 12:40, when we had lunch. Billy cooked hot dogs and burgers with Crystal again, and we took a break for about half an hour before we started the CPR classes. Raymond taught one person and two person adult CPR, then taught AEDs. Finally, Daniel took the Infant CPR class, and taught it in about an hour. At around 6:00, we took a break before dinner, and said goodbye to Daniel, who has to leave today. In the end, Today was a relatively slow day, mostly lessons and some drama class, but it was still fun. Good night, and we’ll continue to upload tomorrow.

It was really fun today. We did CPR and some drama class in the morning. In the afternoon there were so much bugs in our room, (cabin 2) that we had to move to a different place. The resort! The difference of the resort and the cabins is the resort is infront of the separate place but same company. The resort has not to much rooms and the first thing you see when you walk in the room is beds! Two more days left.

Today was the 6^th day of camp MONTICLE. We stayed all day at the campsite today. We had a nice breakfast today, chicken noodle soup. Then, we had a long drama class and figured out some scenes of our play. Then we had lunch. For lunch we had hamburgers and hotdogs. We had free time then had a CPR class. I learned a lot at CPR, I’m so scared for the exam!! Dinner was really good, we had drumsticks and corn and for dessert pudding. It was really fun today, and tomorrow we’re doing water sports!!

Today, we had CPR for most of the day and Drama class in the morning. In the morning Drama class, we practiced and created the scenes that we would presentin 3 days, at the the retirement house. The scenes need a bit of polishing before they are presentable. For CPR, we learned about the basics which was like review for me. It was quite educational. Today, I learned a lot.

Day 3. Today, the drama instructor let me direct a few scenes from the play, thank the lord I don’t need to act in it. Tomorrow we’re spending all day in the water, I’d prefer not to. There are people in the world that use other people to their advantage, I’m one of those people. I got like 10 mosquito bites last night, life sucks. Hopefully on Saturday when we go back to HQ, I can go home

Today was day 6 in camp. Today was a pretty simple day. We started off with drama class, thinking about the drama we’ll be presenting at Mon Sheong. We finished at 2 pm. After that we had lunch. When we finished, we had about an hour of free time. Then, we had CPR class. We learnt how to do CPR on an unconscious person (dummy) and how to use an AED. I think I will enjoy the rest of this trip.

CPR and AED – two confusing words which I am still not sure what it stands for, but yet I had said them more than 20 times for the past 4 hours. Before dinner, we had to do CPR training, which was basicly compressing an uncounsious person’s chest to help them and to get them ready for AED, and equipment that uses electricity to shock their heart so that can start again. Although it would be useful in the future, I have to admit it was a pretty boring.

Today is very tireing, the drama I did is soccer and the bumping care, we ate chicken noodle soup for breakfast, lunch is not dog and dinner is pork chicken drumsticks, corn, ice teat, and pudding. I ate 3 puddings. Kayak is tomorrow. I am sure it is tomorrow 100%. Except for black rain or red rain.

VVV…RRMM….”click!” the fan stopped, I opened my eyes slowly allowing the morning light flash inot my eyes. Quice was the first thing I saw, unplugging the fan. It was 7:58 a few minutes til wake up time, so I decided to stare up into the ceiling recapping the things we did in the past days, the wonderful experiences and magical things. Then, I walked out from my room and prepared myself for another day of adventure and excitement, in the morning we did some drama rehearsals, creating a ruff image of our elderly performance, we worked on a boat sketch for the morning and then we had lunch and took CPR lessons, although I have seen SPR on TV, and I learnt a lot more than what I saw. We spent our afternoons testing, training, trying CPR, AEDs. It was a heck of an experience! I’m looking forward to the waterday tomorrow! It would be awesome. I have no doubt.

Dizziness was the first thing that came into my mind when I needed to look at the motionless maniquin and I was disgusted. We had to do basic CPR, and AED for our training but I was so sleepy that I could have fell asleep even if a elephant steps on me. I don’t remember the rest.

Today is day 6. Today we had an awesome drama class. It was funny, our breakfast was chicken noodle soup, and for lunch, we had a hamburger, and for dinner, we had 2 drumsticks and corn, and pudding. T was all good. We also has CPR class. It was tiring, but fun. Tomorrow is alday water. It will be fun.

Today we had to learn CPR and drama. They were both pretty fun. The dinner was one of the best dinner in the camp too.

This morning we did bed inspections and we had a nice breakfast. Instead of having drama at night we did It in the morning. Later in the afternoon we had a CPR class. The day ended with saying thank you to Daniel for helping out.

I was so tired today because I didn’t get a good sleep. Was also too hot and the grass gave me allergies. I think we need a day to rest and nearer. I wish we had more snacks to eat.

Today we did CPR + AED for the whole afternoon/ evening and ate delicious food.

Today when I finished breakfast, we practiced dramer for monstutip for an drama play. Later on we had mostly free time. I played soccer with Quince and Marco. After lunch, we had CPUC not the short form of computers and AED. We had chicken leg and corn for dinner!

Today was another sort of relaxing day, as we focused more on the drama stuff. After lunch, we did some CPR and AED training. Tomorrow is probably another hard day with kayaking and more man overboard. The only thing that I don’t like here in camp are the bugs, toilet and the wetsuits. I hope tomorrow is the last day we are using them.

Alpha Group / Me3 Foundation Day 5

We started our day today at 7:00, and had until 7:30 to clean up for cabin inspection. Our beds had to be made, sleeping bags folded, and packs organized, and some of us only passed this one because Daniel was lenient. Anyways, after that, we prepared for an amazing breakfast of English muffin, barbequed ham, and eggs. We then geared up for a full day of water activities. We started out, like every activity we do, with safety drills. We did some basic swim testing, just to make sure we could all handle ourselves in the water. We grouped ourselves into groups of 4, linked arms and practised kicking. After that we continued to practise handling ourselves in the water, we all lined up to fall backwards into a deeper portion of the lake, and swam back to the shore. After all the safety training, we split ourselves into 2 groups, and the first group headed out on Billy’s boat, to an island in Georgian Bay. When we got there, Raymond took us on a small hike, to enjoy the scenery and the fascinating wildlife. Meanwhile, the other group started to discuss the roles for an upcoming play that the Monticle students are preforming in. When we all had a chance to go to the island and hike, we headed back to our cottages to eat a dinner of spaghetti and pork chops. Again, Billy’s cooking was amazing, but what really surprised all of us were the pork chops that Crystal cooked, which were excellent. In the end, we all had a great day out on the lake, and we’re looking forwards to tomorrow, when many of us finally learn CPR from Raymond, a former paramedic in Hong Kong, one of the three medics with us on this trip (the others being Daniel and Billy, who are both combat medics). Anyways, due to the remote location of the camp, and the fact that Wi-Fi is hard to obtain, we will only be uploading the student blogs and the general blog (this one) for the duration of the camping trip. Pictures will be uploaded when we arrive back at HQ.

Today, when I finished breakfast, we did an water training class near the Jordan Bay. We were floating in the water and swam, we’re also training our teamwork! Then we separated  ABCD teams into two groups, and Billy drove the boat to Jordan island to explore. The boat was bumping and fast. When we came back from Jordan Island, we changed our swimming suits and had a shower. I had a fun day!

Today, we did one water activity. That was “man overboard” training. It was fun but a bit tiring. The best part was that we could go on the fast boat. Before the training, we also did some pre-drills on how to jump into the water the right way, overall, today was fine.

Day 2. Today was better than yesterday, not by much though. We pretty much stayed in / near water all day. I dislike wetsuits with a passion. It was a very tiring day. Home is still on my mind, but at least we’re returning on Saturday. We’re supposed to perform something for elderly people soon, slightly looking forward to it but I’m hoping the instructor will let me direct instead of act. Hope tomorrow is better. Hope all is well at home.

This morning we first had room inspections then had scrambled eggs and ham. Then we had a lecture about safety equipment. When we changed into our wetsuits we practised man over things. We had 2 teams for boating (man overboard) it took a while to get to shore. We had to wait for the others before going back. Then we cleaned the boat after showering.

Today, we practiced man-overboard drills. Because of this, we visited the Georgian bay the island, Beau soleil. It was a very beautiful island, as one can tell from its name, but kinda deserted with little signs of residents, though there were a lot of toursists and boaters. Tonight we’ll have a barbeque and campfire. I’m very excited and pleased with today

Today we done the man overboard. The water is so cold that we almosted freezed. It is in the middle of a bay. After a little bit of water. The water in top is warm. We did a hike in bosala island. We found a shelter to wait for the other group to do the man overboard. Tomorrow will be kayak. I can’t wait till tomorrow. The wetsuit is hard to wear.

Well, today was just tiring but fun in a way. All of us went on a motor boat to go to a island name beau- soleil island. It was annoy because of my wet suit shoe.

Man overboard, cold water, speed boats. These thoughts just flows through my mind haunting me. I was shaking of nervousness, I haven’t really experienced anything simmillar. At that moment half of me is saying, “you can’t do it, just step out from this camp.” Half of myself is saying “take risks, be a risk taker! You came to be a leader! Show everyone what you’re made of!”  So I decided to walk abd jump into the water, the cold water quickly pushed through my body chilling my soul, wait! It wasn’t as cold as I thought, so I found my mates and started padding, one two! One two! We sang as we swam lightening our spirits. That was a moment I finally found my courage and bravery and showed people my potential. Than we headed back, and I got an opportunity to steer the boat, and I showered then played a game of volleyball, what a day!

Hello mom, how are you? Are having fun? For one, we did man overboard training in the lake of Georgian bay. The water was cold. I really miss you a lot.

Splash. Splash. Splash. I stare at them as they fall backwards into the lake. I count down intil it is my turn to jump. Two. My heart was pounding like crazy, I can’t get up properly when Billy tells me it is my turn. I stand at the corner of the wooden board, and look back. I see seaweed waving with the current of the lake, as if it’s waiting for me to jump. I have no choice. I spread my arms out and jump.

Today is the 5^th day of camp, and the 2^nd day of camping at MUSKEY’S LANDING. For the full day we did helmets, and all that safety stuff…. Next, we changed into our wetsuits and did some fun drills in the water. We then rode on the boat and went to Georgian bay. When we got there we did a man overboard drill and swam all the way to shore. The day was kinda like that and it’s really fun, we’re going to do it again on Friday.

Today we did man over board. For the whole day. I kind of have a sun burn on my face and legs. The water was cold at first but then it run out pretty warm. We went to an island and looked around. We saw a humungous scelaton of a fish. We estimated that a bear ate it, cause there were bear prints in the sand. It was really fun today. Just 3 days left for this camp.

Today was super tiring and exhausting. Even though we didn’t really feel the heat because we were in our wetsuits; we actually all got really burnt and my face is all red. The boat ride was really soothing but the water activities were tiring. Overall the day was okay.

Today is the day 5 at camp/ Today we did man overboard. It was not bad and not that cold, for breakfast, we had ham egg muffin. It was ok. For lunch, we had crackers, juice, and oreo’s. it was ok to. Tomorrow we are doing CPR. I forgot, happy B-day mom!!

Today is the 5^th day of camp. We woke at 7:00 today and had breakfast after getting ready. After breakfast, all of us put on our wetsuits. Water shoes, helmets and lifejackets, then went to the shore at the water. Then we learnt how to swim in the water. Later, we had a short lunch. After that, we split into 2 groups and had a 30 minute boat ride to further water. We had our man-overboard drill there. I had so much fun playing in the water today. I can’t wait to go kayaking tomorrow!

Today we went in the water to do water stuffs. For example: man overboard. It was pretty fun. We also went to an island with Billy\s boat. Billy’s boat is very fast. I can barely breath. But today is still fun.

Alpha Group / Me3 Foundation Day 4

Another long day today, I’m starting to think that every day is going to feel longer than the last… Anyways, the students woke up at 6:00 today, to get ready for the camp. We say many tired faces, bed hair, and a few students still sleeping, but we all managed to get everything packed in time. We loaded up 6 kayaks onto the new Sprinter (called Bravo) and the Zodiac boat on the other (Alpha). After a long drive (not that any of us noticed, we were asleep), we arrived at the campsite. The scenery was beautiful, and my apologies for not uploading a picture of it, we’re on a tight schedule. So when we got there, our first task was to unload all of our gear. Unloading the food was especially interesting, as we organized into one of Billy’s “trains”, much like a conveyer belt. Billy organized all of the students into 3 cabins, the fourth being the food storage cabin, instructor meeting area, and medical station. After a few games of volleyball (which we could all agree we needed practise in), we prepared for dinner, and one of Billy’s many kinds of mashed potatoes. Mushroom soup, bacon, and hot dogs make an interesting combination…. Finally, we prepared for an evening lecture, in which we learned about ourselves, and learned some life lessons. The details of the lessons however, are better described by the students, as each experience was different, and unique to the individual. Anyways, some final comments, you will notice that we have not uploaded many pictures; we will have the rest soon. Good night, and stay tuned, we’ll continue uploading tomorrow.

Today is day 4, we went to Mcdonalds. It was really good. Then we went camping. I got stung by a wasp. It hurts a lot. Theirs a lot of bugs. Our cottage is ok although tomorrow were going kayaking. We are also going man overboard.

Hello mom, I miss you a lot. During our first day in Port Severen, we stayed in a cabin. We learned about the rules, eat some mashed potatoes a vegetables and played games.

I had a rough start to the day because I forgot to pack up for comping trip so I had to get pack my stuff at home. I went to HQ and see that Daniel is driving me to port Severn. For lunch I had burgerking and then we went to port severn. We were first there. For dinner we had mashed potatoes with vegetables and hotdogs. The last thing was commenting game.

Today was an exciting day today because were camping. When I woke up, I was helping Billy and other instructors to put the kayaks in the truck. After breakfast, we got a 45 minutes medical military lesson, I learned how to do different bandage for a injured arm! When we finished lunch at Mcdonalds, we went to Port Sedernz to camp! I had a cool day today!

Today was my first time to play volleyball! It was very fun, but I suck at it.

Today was our first day in camp. The journey was fine, but the best thing that happened was that I finally tried Canadian Mcdonald’s! Sadly it was sort of the same as Mcdonald’s in HK. We also did a hard game. Exercise the game was that we had to go through the hole in between the arms of a chair. The task was hard, but it was even harder because there were multiple chairs in a straight line.

Today was the 5^th day of camp. After we finished getting ready in the morning, Daniel (Billy’s friend) taught us about first-aid. He taught us how to tie bandages and make slings. Then we loaded all our packed backpacks onto the printers, and left for camp. We stopped at Mcdonalds for lunch after 45 min. of driving. When we finally arrived at the “campsite” we had some teamwork excercises with Raymond. For dinner, we had hotdogs and mashed potatoes. After inner, we had an hour of opinion sharing time. I’m so excited for tomorrow.

Today was a very eventful day. We had a few of new students and instructors. As well we went to Muskey’s landing. The day was filled with learning, activities, and experience. Today I learned a wonderful lesson that I will remember… I encountered many Golden words, different perspectives and ways to improve.

Today was the 4^th day. We went to the campsite today. It’s called Muskey’s Landing. We had to wake up at 6:00, but it’s ok. We only had Oreo’s for breakfast and Vitasoy. We drove…. And then we had lunch. For lunch we had Mcdonald’s. Yummmmy!! After, an hour we arrived at the campsite. There is a lake, grassland, basketball nets and a small volleyball court. It’s not really a campsite, it’s more of a resort. Today we just played games. We played circle chair and a chain of chairs. The chain of chairs is so painful, but a fun experience. Then we played some more. We had mashed potato’s and hotdogs for dinner. Today was a really fun day, and a fun experience!!

Impossible AKA I’m possible; never give up! I had an awesome and exciting day of tag, volleyball, music and inspirational. The things we did taught me a lesson: one step of hard work and seat equals to one step towards success, and over the years or time those steps turns into a trail going closer and closer to success, but if you give up all your time and effort are wasted just like two business men digging for gold, one man races towards the gold and almost reaches towards the mine just one more meter until he gets rich, pride, joy, but he gave up and miserably failed because he didn’t believe in himself, but yet the other business man didn’t give up. Just like the rabbit and the turtle. Pain is temporary, it could last for a while but giving up, it’s a form of regret failure which is permanent which haunts your lives forever. I experience a lot today, drawing through chairs and having the thoughts of giving up but remembered Billy’s lesson and Keddis inspirational speech! Thank you! I’ll remember that for life!

 Today was my first day at camp, and to be completely honest, I want to go home. Today we didn’t do much other than heat and play games.  Camp isn’t turning out exactly as I imagined. I’m told it gets better but I’m skeptical. Hopefully tomorrow & the rest of summer will be better. Our bedtime is 10:30 pm, it seems ridiculous but we’re all very tired text you later bro, please remember to feed my fish.

20 plastic chairs neatly lined up in a row. That might seem decent to most people, but to me it was torture. We were supposed to crawl through the tight hole between the armrest and the seat- something I have never thought of. MY arms got scratched by the chairs sharp edges while I was forcing myself through. I wanted to give up, but I didn’t. Don’t give up. DON’T GIVE UP. That was the only thing on my mind. Whenever I thought I couldn’t go on, I stopped for a while, but I didn’t give up. Because if you stop, you can resume, but if you give up, you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN.

Today we have finally sae Canada rain a little bit. Canada’s weather is awfully good and it is way more better than HK. We are going to kayak tomorrow. We have a game to challenge, it is called “chains of the chairs”, it is very hard. It will be fun tomorrow.

Today was the camp day. At MUSKEY’S landing. I do like it hear. Alot. In my cabin we have crystal, Alexandra, Kendra and me in my room, and Daniel and Calvin in the other room Deniel is a mother educated medical person. Tomorrow we will go into the lake and do “man over board”. (Is jumping over the boat.)
